Determining which AI engine, citation, or summary drove a given visit.

Hard, because referrer headers don't always survive AI surfaces. Some AI engines pass referrers cleanly; others strip them. Attribution requires a combination of UTM tagging in cited URLs (where you control them), bot-log correlation, and panel-based survey data.
