# AI Overviews

Google's AI-generated summary above the search results.

AI Overviews are the most-visible AI search surface today. Powered by Gemini, they draw from sources Google judges authoritative - heavily weighted toward sites with strong structured data (Schema.org markup, FAQPage shapes, HowTo) and proper Open Graph. Inclusion is binary and zero-clicky; you either get cited or your traffic gets eaten.
