DCAT
A W3C vocabulary for describing datasets: what a dataset is, who publishes it, and where it can be downloaded.
DCAT (Data Catalog Vocabulary) is the standard way to describe a catalogue of datasets so that catalogues can be merged and searched across organisations. Government and research data portals use it heavily. If your site publishes data rather than prose, DCAT is how you say so in a shape another catalogue, or a model retrieving from one, already understands.
