Common terminology explained

A few product-specific terms appear throughout the documentation. Each is described where it is used, but this section gathers the essentials in one place.

Structured Formats

Standardized files (YAML, Markdown, JSON-LD, etc.) that describe your site's content so machines can read it precisely.

AI References

A short snippet you add to your site's <head> tag. It includes a link-rel block (pointing to each generated format) and a JSON-LD manifest that describes your dataset.

Custom Domain Hosting

An optional setup where your generated files live under your own subdomain, such as geo.example.com. Handled through a single DNS A Record.

Cadence

The refresh interval you assign to each format—daily, weekly, or monthly. Controlled in Enable File Formats.

Queue and Prioritization

The internal order in which URLs are processed. High-priority URLs are scanned first.
